Pikpin Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Pikpin mobile app, website, account features, public collection features, subscriptions, and related services.

By downloading, accessing, or using Pikpin, you agree to these Terms.

For purposes of these Terms, “Pikpin,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to pikpin.lab, the independent operator of the Pikpin app and legal pages, reachable at [email protected].

1. The Service

Pikpin provides location-based browsing, maps, nearby postcard discovery, local collections, downloadable region data, optional account features, public collections, feedback tools, and optional Plus benefits for personal, non-commercial use unless we state otherwise.

Core browsing, search, downloads, place details, and local collections may be usable without signing in. Backup, restore, publishing, profile, saved public collection, and Plus features may require a Pikpin account.

2. Accounts

If you create or use a Pikpin account, you are responsible for activity on that account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Some account features may use supported sign-in providers such as Apple or Google.

We may suspend, restrict, or delete accounts or content if needed to protect Pikpin, enforce these Terms, respond to abuse, comply with law, or keep the service reliable.

3. User Content and Public Collections

You may be able to create, upload, publish, or submit content such as profile text, avatar images, collection titles, descriptions, cover images, public collection contents, feedback messages, screenshots, or support materials.

You keep ownership of content you own, but you allow Pikpin to use it as needed to operate, display, protect, promote, and support the service. Public collections and public profile fields are visible to other users or public visitors after you publish them.

You must not submit illegal, infringing, abusive, misleading, privacy-invasive, or harmful content. We may remove, limit, unpublish, or refuse content when needed.

4. Collections, Backup, Restore, and Local Data

Local collections, downloaded region data, and some preferences may remain on your device and may not automatically sync unless you sign in and use account features.

Backup and restore are convenience features. You are responsible for reviewing your choices before replacing local or account data, and not every local file, downloaded item, image, or device setting may be backed up or restored.

Plus or account status changes do not automatically delete local collections, but some account or backup features may be limited if your account exceeds the available limits.

5. Pikpin Plus and Purchases

Pikpin Plus may be offered as an auto-renewing subscription. Prices, billing, renewal, cancellation, taxes, trials, and refunds are handled by the purchase platform you use, such as Apple App Store or Google Play.

Plus benefits may be tied to your Pikpin account. You may need to sign in to the same account to access or restore Plus on supported platforms. If a payment is canceled, refunded, fails, or expires, Plus benefits may change.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Pikpin only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. You must not:

interfere with, disrupt, overload, abuse, scrape, reverse engineer, or try to access Pikpin without permission;
bypass account, purchase, content review, safety, or technical protections;
submit false, abusive, illegal, infringing, harmful, spammy, privacy-invasive, or misleading content or feedback;
use public collection, profile, feedback, or support features to harass others, impersonate others, expose sensitive personal information, or share content you do not have the right to share;
use Pikpin in a way that harms users, service providers, or Pikpin.

7. Content, Accuracy, and Availability

Pikpin may display maps, places, categories, public collections, profile information, and other content from us, users, or third-party providers. This information may change, be incomplete, become unavailable, or contain errors.

Use your own judgment and follow local rules when visiting places shown in the app. We may update, remove, disable, or stop offering content, downloads, public collections, features, or service areas at any time.

8. Third-Party Services

Pikpin uses third-party services for features such as maps, sign-in, storage, analytics, crash reporting, hosting, purchases, advertising, notifications, and support. Your use of those parts of the service may also be subject to third-party terms, platform rules, and privacy practices.

Third-party services may change or stop working in ways that affect Pikpin. We are not responsible for services we do not control.

9. Account Deletion

If you are signed in, you can delete your Pikpin account from the app. If you cannot access the app, see Account Deletion or contact [email protected].

10. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Pikpin from time to time. We may also revise these Terms by updating this page. Continued use of Pikpin after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
